Muncie Multi-Sport is proud to partner with St.Vincent Health and Triton Brewing to offer the first ‘St.Vincent Health Triathlon at Lawrence.’ The event will start at the Benjamin Harrison YMCA in Lawrence, Indiana at 4pm on May 26, 2012 and finish at Triton Brewing. Starting at the Ft. Benjamin Harrison YMCA, biking in and around the Ft. Benjamin Harrison State Park, the race will conclude at Triton Brewing’s new location within the Lawrence Reuse area. The ‘St.Vincent Health Triathlon at Lawrence’ will include many different options for different fitness levels including a Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, and Aquabike as well as a 5K Run/Walk.
While the field limit for this race is limited to 500 athletes, those registering early at www.munciemultisport.com/events/lawrence-sprint-triathlon/ can save money. Team pricing options are available and while race registration closes online on May 25 at 1pm race day registration is available if openings remain at the race day price. The minimum age for all races is 13 years old (except 5K – 8 years old) and ages are determined by the participants age on December 31, 2012. All participants will receive an event label tech t-shirt and awards will be given out by male/female age groupings.
The race is the 2nd Triathlon in the Triton Brewing Indiana Triathlon Series including the championship final at Triton Brewing on Sept. 22 on the same course in Lawrence, 4 Triathlons in Muncie including the MidEast Regional College Championships on Sept. 1, the Summit Lake Optimist Triathlon in New Castle, Indiana on July 28 and the Autocar Richmond, Indiana Triathlon on June 2. There are age group series awards, points and gifts in three separate categories of triathlon, duathlon and aquabike for men and women.
